EBECRYL® 8412 by allenx is a low energy UV/ electron beam (EB) curable aliphatic urethane acrylate resin. Recommended for automotive refinish body putties and end of line spot repair, general metals, flexible coatings, thin film solar cell, metallized plastics topcoat and primer. It is characterized by excellent pigment wetting with good flexibility and surface hardness. Exhibits excellent adhesion to automotive substrates, good flexibility & toughness and low shrinkage upon cure. It contains dipropylene glycol diacrylate (DPGDA) as a reactive diluent. Offers excellent cure response under low light intensity conditions, good wetting of inert and reactive fillers and ease of application. EBECRYL® 8412 typically constitutes between 40 and 60% of the final UVA curable body putty.
