EBECRYL® 249

EBECRYL® 249 by allnex is a light color, high viscosity, aliphatic urethane methacrylate resin diluted with 25% trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate (TMPTMA). Films of EBECRYL® 249 cured by electron beam (EB) or ultraviolet light (UV) exhibit good exterior durability, good adhesion and a high order of scuff and abrasion. It is characterized by excellent non-yellowing. It may be applied by lithographic, screen, gravure, direct or reverse roll, and curtain coating methods. It is recommended for clear coatings for paper & flexible and semi-rigid plastics. It is also used in silk screen inks, solder resists as a flexibilizer and wood topcoats.
