EBECRYL® 1290

EBECRYL® 1290 by allnex is hexafunctional aliphatic urethane hexaacrylate which provides extremely fast cure response when exposed to ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB). Cured films exhibit outstanding surface hardness, scratch-, abrasion and solvent resistance. It possesses high gloss and resistance to yellowing. It is applied via direct or reverse roll, offset gravure, metering rod, slot die, knife over roll, air knife, curtain, immersion & spin coating methods and screen printing. EBECRYL® 1290 is recommended for use in hardcoats, clear and pigmented coatings for paper, paperboard, wood, rigid plastics. Also used as an additive to improve cure speed, solvent resistance, and abrasion resistance.
