DAOTAN® TW 7225/40WA by allnex is an aqueous, solvent free, polyester-based polyurethane dispersion which contains hydroxy group. It has shear stability and pigment compatibility, which yields highly flexible films when cured with isocyanates as well as melamine resins. These properties allow for the formulation of highly flexible coating systems especially for primers for plastics. It shows very good adhesion to PA, PC, ABS as well as pre-treated PP/EPDM. It is also suited for formulating aqueous automotive-OEM primer surfacers. DAOTAN® TW 7225/40WA has good pigment wetting properties.
