DAOTAN® TW 7061/35WA

DAOTAN® TW 7061/35WA by allnex is a polyester-based, acrylic modified high molecular weight polyurethane dispersion. It contains 0.8% N,N-dimethyl ethanolamine as a neutralization agent. This solvent- & emulsifier-free product provides shear stability and unlimited dilutability with deionized water.

• It gives a unique viscosity behavior in combination with thickeners (especially layered silicates).
• It has very good outdoor durability and outstanding wet adhesion even in low bake applications.
• Dried at ambient temperature DAOTAN® TW 7061/35WA, yields clear and crack-free films without any previous addition of solvents or paint additives.
• It shows thermal yellowing stability up to 200°C and outstanding appearance & bright metallic effects.
• It possesses good mechanical properties e.g. stone chip resistance properties.
• It exhibits excellent adhesion to a wide variety of plastic substrates, CED as well as ferrous- and non-ferrous metals in baking enamels.
• It is used for premium quality, water-borne metallic basecoat formulations for automotive OEM and VR applications.
• It has a shelf life of 450 days.
