DAOTAN® TW 6490/35WA

DAOTAN® TW 6490/35WA by allnex is a waterborne, aliphatic polyurethane dispersion, free of solvents and emulsifiers. It yields transparent and crack-free films when dried at ambient temperature. Coatings based on DAOTAN® TW 6490/35WA provide very good adhesion to plastic substrates like ABS, PVC, PC, PMMA. It also offers high elasticity, toughness, excellent mechanical properties and little yellowing at elevated temperature. It is recommended for plastic primers and basecoats. It can be used as modifier resin in waterborne OEM primer surfacer to improve stone chip resistance. If used in ink receptive primer formulations, it provides excellent pigment affinity and high humidity resistance. It can be crosslinked with polyaziridine and carbodiimide to improve water- and chemical resistance properties of coatings dried at ambient temperature. DAOTAN® TW 6490/35WA has a shelf life of 365 days.
