DAOTAN® TW 6466/36WA

DAOTAN® TW 6466/36WA by allnex is an aqueous emulsion of an aliphatic urethane-acryl-hybrid. It is a polyester based, acrylic modified, high molecular weight polyurethane dispersion. The resin provides shear stability and is free of solvents and emulsifiers.

• Dried at ambient temperature it yields clear and crack-free films without any previous addition of solvents or paint additives.
• It contains 0.85% N,N-dimethyl ethanolamine as neutralization agent.
• In conjunction with thickeners (especially layered silicates) it shows a unique viscosity behavior.
• It offers higher flexibility, better wet adhesion and lower tendency for pinhole formation during spray application.
• DAOTAN® TW 6466/36WA is suitable for waterborne metallic basecoat formulations for automotive-OEM application.
• These basecoats are characterized by outstanding appearance, excellent mechanical properties as well as very good outdoor durability.
• The shelf life of this product is 450 days.
