Epotec® YDPN 638

Epotec® YDPN 638 by Aditya Birla Chemicals is a high viscosity epoxy phenol novolac resin. It has functionality of 3.6 in its original form. This higher functionality imparts highly cross linked three dimensional network when cured. This high cross link density offers excellent chemical resistance and mechanical properties such as hardness and abrasion resistance. It can be used alone or can also be blended with other conventional epoxy resins to improve there chemical and thermal resistance characteristics. It exhibits better retention of chemical, mechanical and electrical resistance properties at elevated temperatures.
