FERROXIDE® Yellow 3049

Ferric oxide hydrate (FeOOH). Inert pigment with clean shade, low oil absorption and good heat resistance. They are reliable, have consistent quality and are stable under exposure to sunlight/UV radiation. Offers alkali, chemical and weather resistance. Used alone/in combination with organic pigments to improve opacity, reduce formula cost and add UV resistance to coatings and inks formulations. Used in paints, colorants, powder coatings as well as in inks.
