Arctic® Blue 214

Arctic Blue 214 by Shepherd is a dark blue, non-bleeding, non-migratory and non-warping grade. It is produced by high temperature calcination. It offers a fair UV and visible opacity and is chemically inert, heat resistant and stable to ultraviolet light. It has exceptional durability, hiding power and is generally used in applications where resistance to light, weather is needed. It is compatible with most resin systems and polymers. It is resistant to acids, bases, solvents and UV and is widely used in color matches to minimize heat build up (HBU). Suitable for inks, liquid-, coil-, extrusion-, silicate-, powder-, transportation & ace coatings, ceramic, glass enamels, façade paints and plasters. Arctic Blue 214 possesses coloring articles used for producing, packaging and transporting goods.
