Iriotec® 9870

Iriotec® 9870 by Merck KGaA, Darmstadt Germany is mica-based layer pigment. It offers a diffusion of visible light while reducing UV and NIR transmission. It reflects the sunlight’s invisible heat radiation while allowing the majority of the visible light to pass through. It is designed for use in horticulture applications. It has a weather-resistant coating which makes it suitable for high-performance exterior applications. It possesses more light, less heat & high UV absorption. It exhibits properties similar to sun-protective filters on all transparent substrates. It can be used in coating applications. It creates a pleasant atmosphere and lighting conditions. Iriotec® 9870 can be used in areas where high resistance to humidity, UV light or both are required. It leads to a cooler environment with a lot of photoactive radiation (PAR). It is applicable to EU regulations.
