HALOX® Z-PLEX 250

HALOX® Z-PLEX 250 by ICL is a white, non-refractive, corrosion inhibiting pigment. It is an alternative to lead & chrome inorganic corrosion inhibitors. It is type I, zinc phosphate di-hydrate. It is designed for powder coatings & protective coatings.

• It shows high degree of versatility due to its narrow particle size distribution.
• It is suitable for solvent-based epoxies, epoxy esters, short-, medium- & long oil alkyd and polyesters.
• HALOX® Z-PLEX 250 is used in water-based epoxies, water reducible alkyd, alkyd dispersions and acrylics.
• It is compliant with ASTM D6280, Specification for Zinc Phosphate Pigment Type I.
• Recommended dosage level is 5-10% based on total formula weight.
• It has a shelf life of 36 months.
