Davis Colors™ Black 888

Synthetic magnetite (Fe3O4) produced in the aniline process. High-tinting strength, inorganic, permanent and inert black pigment characterized by a bluish tint. Designed for use in concrete, concrete products and mortar and paints. Is color-stable in processing temperatures below 180°C and above this temperature it changes color from black to brown and finally to red. Possesses sufficient high purity. Shows stability under exposure to sunlight and UV radiation. Offers alkali, chemical and weather resistance.
