Hostatint™ SI Burnt Umber BU by Heubach is a red shade brown pigment dispersion (Pigment Brown 7, CI 77491) based on a thermoplastic acrylic resin with Tg>50°C and 1-methoxy-2-propyl acetate.

It is compatible with tinting solvent and some solvent-free industrial coatings.
It exhibits suitable fastness properties.
It is used in solvent-based OEM, maintenance, aerosol, industrial in-plant and wood coatings.
It is suitable for producing or tinting RAL shades, OSHA safety shades and industrial point-of-sale (POS) standard shades.
Hostatint™ SI Burnt Umber BU is manufactured without using alkyl phenol ethoxylated (APEO) additives.
