HALOX® BW-100

HALOX® BW-100 by ICL is a low-cost tannin stain inhibiting pigment used in exterior architectural wood coatings. It is barium phosphosilicate-based, non-refractive grade used in protective coating systems. It provides minimal hiding with decent exterior durability.

• It provides performance and compatibility in a variety of resin systems such as acrylic latexes, vinyl acrylic latexes, styrenated acrylic latexes and solvent-based alkyds.
• It is suitable for water-based systems.
• It is effective in high PVC alkyd primers and demonstrates excellent performance.
• The dosage level of HALOX® BW-100 is 5-10% based on total formula weight.
• It has a shelf life of 36 months.
