Moonshine® Astral® Blue Super Shimmer

Moonshine® Astral® Blue Super Shimmer by Glassflake is a special effect interference pigment containing calcium sodium borosilicate (54-65 wt%), tin oxide (0-1 wt%) and titanium dioxide (35-45 wt%). It is based on thin borosilicate glass flake which has an average thickness of 350nm and is coated with high refractive index metal oxides. It is suitable for use in most flexo, gravure, screen and offset inks. Moonshine® Astral® Blue Super Shimmer offers astral effect, strong interference color, high transparency and extraordinary gloss. It is used in liquid and powder coating systems for most applications from architectural powder coatings to wall coverings and residential paints. It is listed on TSCA, EINECS/ELINCS, DSL, AICS, ENCS, KIEC, ECL, IECSC, NZloc, TCSI, PICCS, Switzerland and CIRS inventories.
