Gafast Violet 1012R by Gharda Chemicals is an organic dioxazine pigment with high performance. Compatible with acrylic-isocyanate. Exhibits excellent fastness to butyl acetate, ethylene glycol, dioctyl phthalate and dibutyl phthalate. Provides excellent resistance to n-butanol, water, 2% acid and mineral turpentine oil. Shows good fastness to methylethyl ketone, ethyl cellosolve, over coating & good weather fastness in full shade and reduction paints. Gafast Violet 1012R is suitable for use in acid & amine curing paints, aqueous paints including air drying and baking systems. Offers good xylene and 2% alkali resistance.
