Gafast Red 2212 by Gharda Chemicals is a high performance, organic quinacridone pigment with violet shade. Shows excellent over coating fastness & good weather fastness in full shade and reduction paints. Compatible with acrylic-isocyanate. Exhibits good ethyl cellosolve fastness & excellent fastness to butyl acetate, methylethyl ketone, ethylene glycol, dioctyl phthalate and dibutyl phthalate. Provides excellent resistance to xylene, n-butanol, water, 2% acid and mineral turpentine oil. Gafast Red 2212 is suitable for use in acid & amine curing paints, aqueous paints including air drying and baking systems. Offers good 2% alkali resistance.
