4029 Solar Reflecting Black

4029 Solar Reflecting Black by DCL Corporation is chromium iron oxide-based complex inorganic black pigment. Possesses high solar reflectivity produced by high temperature calcination. It is chemically inert. Has exceptional heat resistance, weathering and lightfastness properties as well as high infrared reflectance. Due to these properties, it is recommended for use in applications where resistance to heat, light and weathering are needed. It is compatible with most resin systems and polymers. 4029 Solar Reflecting Black is acid and alkali resistant. Has non-bleeding, non-warping and non-migratory properties. Can be used to replace black oxides and carbon blacks to reduce temperature effects from exposure to sunlight. Typical applications are various industrial baking, air-dry coatings, powder coatings and inks.
