1322 Naphthol Red 22

1322 Naphthol Red 22 by DCL Corporation is barium free yellow shade red organic pigment. It is used as a replacement for red lake C (53:1) where more lightfastness and alkali resistance is required. It is used mainly in printing inks for alkali resistance and because it is barium free. It is suitable for water flexo and solvent inks. Other ink markets can include textile printing, offset and gravure printing. 1322 Naphthol Red 22 can also be used in the paint industry in air drying systems and in emulsion paints as well as in selected industrial systems although caution must be taken as it may have a tendency to bloom.
