Hansa® Brilliant Yellow 5GX by Heubach is a monoazo-based, transparent yellow organic pigment (Pigment Yellow 74, CI 11741). It exhibits very good light- and weather fastness properties.
  • It shows excellent acid-, alkali- and water resistance.
  • It also provides good overpainting fastness in nitrocellulose (NC) combination lacquer.
  • Compared to other Hansa® Yellow G grades, Hansa® Brilliant Yellow 5GX has a slightly greener shade and 20-40% higher tinting strength, depending on dispersion parameters.
  • It is recommended for general industrial coatings, decorative paints, air-drying paints, air-drying alkyds, physically drying paints, acid cured paints, and water-based paints.
