UCD® 8443V

HSP Distance with AQUAPLUS™ MA: 2.1
UCD® 8443V by Chromaflo Technologies is a quinacridone violet pigment dispersion. Offers mass and tint light fastness. The colorant vehicle consists of a low-molecular weight acrylic resin dissolved in propylene glycol monomethyl ether (PM) acetate. The tinting strength of this colorant is controlled to ±2% of the standard. The low molecular weight of its vehicle i.e. non-functional methacrylate polymer helps to ensure full development of pigment strength while providing a rheological profile suited to automated dispensers. It is compatible with most coating systems based on acrylic, nitrocellulose, alkyd, polyester, epoxy, epoxy ester, alkyd urea, alkyd melamine, urethane, polyester isocyanate and vinyl. It is also compatible with most aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, esters, ethers, ketones, and reactive diluents. It is thixotropic, which makes it resistant to separation by settling or syneresis. It is suitable for solvent borne coatings. UCD® 8443V is used in automotive OEM, concrete protection, general industrial finishes, marine and protective coatings. It has a shelf life of 3 years.
