Organic yellow RS pigment dispersion. Provides an excellent performance through ease of incorporation and resistance to flooding/floating as well as flocculation. Exhibits an excellent color control for in-plant tinting of architectural coatings. It is formulated with a unique proprietary acrylic resin that provides excellent pigment wetting. This feature makes possible high pigment concentrations at relatively low mill base solids levels. The tinting strength of the colorant is controlled to ±2% of the standard. Compatible with acrylic/PVA emulsions, water-reducible polyester/epoxies, water-soluble alkyds and urethanes. Also compatible with systems containing co-solvents and is not limited to use in low-VOC paint formulations. It contains no hazardous air pollutants (HAPS) and less than 0.05 pound of volatile organic compounds (VOC) per gallon. Offers an alkaline pH and is suitable for use in both nonionic as well as anionic paint systems. Also offers improved water resistance and block resistance. It is not recommended for use in manual volumetric dispensing systems. Used for water-based coatings, industrial maintenance, automotive, concrete protection, OEM coatings, and arts as well as crafts applications.
