Chroma-chem® UCD® 5696Q

Chroma-chem® UCD® 5696Q by Chromaflo Technologies is monoazo pigment dispersion, based on 2-butoxyethanol and alkali-soluble acrylic resin. The co-solvent (2-butoxyethanol) offers the benefit of excellent package stability, product deaeration and improved coalescence. It shows no bleed pigment lightfastness but appreciable alkali resistance. It provides excellent grind, high gloss and in-can stability. It offers low VOC level, rheological characteristics and extraordinary stability to the colorant (resistance to flocculation, settling and syneresis). It is compatible with coating systems based on acrylic, acrylic/PVA emulsions, water reducible polyester/epoxy, water-soluble alkyd and urethane. Chroma-chem® UCD® 5696Q is used in alkaline water-based coatings including automotive interior OEM, industrial maintenance, marine, wood and protective coatings. It has a shelf-life of 3 years.
