Tint-Ayd® FC 4003

Tint-Ayd® FC 4003 by Vibrantz Technologies (formerly Chromaflo) is a rutile titanium dioxide pigment dispersion for water-based food contact coatings. It is stable, free-flowing and easy-to-use. It is designed for tinting and full pigmentation applications. It is formulated with water and propylene glycol. It is compatible with water reducible and emulsion coatings systems such as acrylic, polyurethane (PUD) dispersion, vinyl acrylic, water-reducible acrylic, vinyl acetate, water-reducible alkyd, styrene-butadiene, water-reducible polyester, epoxy and water-reducible epoxy. It exhibits light fastness, alkali- and acid resistance. It is used in most industrial coatings including container coatings, food wrap and coatings for food packaging plants. Its normal use levels for tinting are up to 5% and for deep tone and mass-tone colors is up to 12.5%. The shelf life of Tint-Ayd® FC 4003 is 4 years.
