Chroma-chem® 846-1863

Chroma-chem® 846-1863 by Vibrantz Technologies (formerly Chromaflo) is a hydrated iron oxide pigment dispersion. It is designed for low-VOC, solvent-based coatings. It shows slight light-, acid- and alkali fastness. It offers broad color space, color retention, dispensability, excellent durability and rheological properties. It is dispersed in an acrylic resin vehicle that provides excellent wetting and dispersing properties. It can be diluted in a blend of esters and propylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate (PMA). It is compatible with acrylic, polyester, cellulosic lacquer, vinyl lacquer, chlorinated rubber, alkyd, epoxy and polyurethane coatings. It is also compatible with aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, esters, ethers, ketones and reactive diluents. Chroma-chem® 846-1863 is used in volumetric dispensing and in-plant tinting. It is suitable for concrete protection-, maintenance-, wood- and industrial coatings. The shelf life is 2 years.
