Chroma-chem® 50-9434

HSP Distance with Corimax Red 245: 1.5
Chroma-chem® 50-9434 is a low-VOC, quinacridone pigment dispersion for alkaline water-based coatings by Chromaflo Technologies. It shows good acid & alkali fastness, and slight light fastness. It imparts optimal in-plant tinting performance. It offers excellent pigment development, high pigment loading and good rheological properties. It contains propylene glycol n-butyl ether as a coalescing solvent. It is compatible with acrylic, acrylic/PVA emulsions, water-reducible polyester/epoxy, water-soluble alkyd and urethane. It consists of organic and inorganic pigments milled at high concentrations in water reducible, amine neutralized, alkali-soluble acrylic resin vehicle. Chroma-chem® 50-9434 is used in automotive interior OEM, industrial-, maintenance- and protective coating applications. The shelf life is 1 year.

Hansen Solubility Parameters

[21.7, 15.1, 7.7]
?
[δD - Dispersion force interactions, δP - Polar force interactions, δH - Hydrogen bond force interactions]

Please note, these HSP values are estimations. It is based upon the “like seeks like” principle. It splits an ingredients interactions into three parameters; δD (Dispersion force interactions), δP (Polar forces interactions) and δH (Hydrogen bond force interactions). Hansen Solubility Parameters can help you find a wide range of products that are predicted to be compatible with Chroma-chem® 50-9434. A practical determination of these HSP values would provide higher certainty. Learn More.
