High alumina microsphere. CenoStar HAL160 grade cenospheres are hard, inert, hollow, free flowing ceramic alumina-silicate micro-sphere. It exhibits versatility, weight reduction, improved insulation, reduced shrinkage, improved fire resistance, reduced friction, improved surface finish, increased filler loading, cost saving, improved flow characteristics, less shrinkage and warpage, less water absorption, buoyancy, flame retardance, chemical resistance, density management, low viscosity, lubrication, fine particle size, VOC reduction, sound and thermal insulation. Provides excellent processing durability and temperature stability. Used in high temperature coatings.
