Sicomin® Yellow L 1925

Sicomin® Yellow L 1925 by Sun Chemical (DIC) is lead sulfo chromate inorganic pigment. It consists of mixed crystals consisting of lead chromate and lead sulfate. It is not a mixture of lead chromate and lead sulfate and is, for stabilization purposes, coated with silicate and antimony compounds. The heat stability depends on the binder and solvent system used. It is used when the emphasis is on economy rather than fastness to light, weathering, and resistance to sulfur dioxide. It is particularly suitable as the sole colorant present, either in the full or reduced shades, as well as in combination with other pigments for producing oranges and greens. It is highly stabilized. Sicomin® Yellow L 1925 is used in industrial coatings.
