Sicomin® Yellow L 1922 Type U

Sicomin® Yellow L 1922 Type U by Sun Chemical (DIC) is lead sulfo chromate inorganic pigment. It is a mixture of chrome yellow lead chromate pigment and barium chromate stabilized with a silicate coat. It is used when the emphasis is on economy rather than fastness to light, weathering and resistance to sulfur dioxide. It is particularly suitable as the sole colorant present, either in the full or reduced shades, as well as in combination with other pigments for producing oranges and greens. It has low content of lead compounds. It is an economic alternative to the XX35 S series with somewhat lower fastness properties, application properties compare to those of the corresponding standard grades. Sicomin® Yellow L 1922 Type U is used in industrial coatings.
