Sicomin® Yellow L 1922

Sicomin® Yellow L 1922 by Sun Chemical (DIC is a lead sulfo chromate. It is an inorganic pigment. It is not a mixture of lead chromate and lead sulfate and is, for stabilization purposes, coated with silicate. The heat stability depends on the binder and solvent system used. It is used when the emphasis is on economy rather than fastness to light, weathering, and resistance to sulfur dioxide. It is particularly suitable as the sole colorant present, either in the full or reduced shades, as well as in combination with other pigments for producing oranges and greens. Sicomin® Yellow L 1922 is used in industrial coatings.
