Sicomin® Yellow L 1622

Sicomin® Yellow L 1622 by Sun Chemical (DIC) is an inorganic pigment. It is lead sulfo chromate. It provides medium fastness properties but high chroma. It is not suitable to color or coat cement or lime. The heat stability depends on the binder and solvent system used. It is used when the emphasis is on economy rather than fastness to light, weathering, and resistance to sulfur dioxide. It is particularly suitable as the sole colorant present, either in the full or reduced shades, as well as in combination with other pigments for producing oranges and greens. Sicomin® Yellow L 1622 is used in industrial coatings.
