Sicomin® Red L 3025

Sicomin® Red L 3025 by Sun Chemical (DIC) is a highly stabilized lead chromate molybdate sulfate pigment. It consists of mixed crystals consisting of lead chromate, lead sulfate and lead molybdate. It is not a mixture of lead chromate molybdate and lead sulfate and is, for stabilization purposes, coated with silicate and antimony compounds. It is used when the emphasis is on economy rather than fastness to light, weathering and resistance to sulfur dioxide. It is particularly suitable as the sole colorant present, either in the full or reduced shades, as well as in combination with other pigments for producing oranges and greens. Sicomin® Red L 3025 is used in industrial coatings.
