Paliotol® Black L 0080

Paliotol® Black L 0080 by BASF is an aniline black organic pigment. Possesses an extremely dark shade for deep-black coatings. It is mainly used because of its neutral, particularly deep black shade that cannot be obtained with carbon black pigments. It contains crystal water, which evaporates during heating. Suitable for the pigmentation of deep black coatings such as those for pianos or optical instruments. Another use is in UV-curable coatings where carbon blacks may cause problems with through curing. Paliotol® Black L 0080 is also recommended for baking systems, aqueous systems, acrylic/isocyanate systems, acid-curable systems, amine-curable systems and air-drying systems.
