Basacid® Yellow NB 216 by Sun Chemical (DIC) is stilbene-based anionic dye. It possesses stability to 1% acetic acid at pH 2.9 and oxidizing agents. It is mostly used in writing inks and ink-jet inks. Basacid® Yellow NB 216 has a shelf life of at least one year when kept in tightly closed containers at temperatures above 0°C.
