GENIOSIL® XL 70

Phenyltrimethoxysilane. It is a clear, colorless, low-viscosity silane with a faint odor belonging to arylalkoxysilane group. Possesses high flash point that facilitates easy storage and handling. Protects polymers from moisture that is inherent to formulation via fillers and other ingredients. Hydrolyzes in presence of moisture (methanol is released) to form silanols, which can then react with themselves to produce siloxanes. Compatible with all GENIOSIL® silane-modified polymers and organofunctional silanes. Suitable for liquid waterproofing systems. Listed on TSCA, DSL, EINECS, ECL, ENCS, AICS, IECSC and PICCS.
