Sartomer SR493 by Sartomer (Arkema Group) is a monofunctional isotridecyl methacrylate (ITDMA) grade. It is a low volatility and low odor monomer for use in UV/EB (ultraviolet/ electron beam) polymerization. Exhibits low skin and eye irritation. Enhances the performance of advanced materials by reducing VOCs (volatile organic compounds), replacing styrene, increasing gel times, and improving surface hardness SR493 is used in plastic coatings.
