RU-1550 by Procachem is poly(3-methyl 1,5-pentylene glycol adipate). This polyol is a saturated hydroxyl terminated linear polyester. Exhibits low temperature properties, excellent hydrolytic stability, excellent mechanical strength, high solvent resistance, good weatherability and good resiliency. It is hygroscopic in nature and should be protected from atmospheric moisture. RU-1550-K5 is suitable for use in polyurethane coatings.
