Mixacid MA1 by Palmary Chemical is a mixture of dibasic organic acids such as sebacic-, undecanedioic- and dodecanedioic acids. It is used as a corrosion inhibitor in metalworking fluids and cooling fluids when neutralized with ethanolamines. It is over 98% long-chain dibasic acid. It has very good corrosion resistance when soft water is used to dilute. Mixacid MA1 provides better hard water stability. It is recommended for powder coatings.
