AOMA™

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Nippon Shokubai
AOMA™ by Nippon Shokubai is methyl 2-((allyloxy)methyl)acrylate monomer. It possesses low viscosity allowing for excellent dissolution & dilution properties for various oligomers and polymers. It produces faster curing coatings with a balance of hardness, toughness, flexibility and durability. It exhibits superior thermal stability, UV curability & reactivity, good co-polymerizability, heat resistance and excellent dispersion.
  • It enables easier application of coatings and provides wear- & impact resistance, improved wetting, adhesion and penetration, especially on porous substrates like wood.
  • It shows good compatibility with various resins, oligomers, and other components.
  • AOMA™ is suitable for a wide range of applications such as protective industrial coatings and automotive- & decorative finishes.
  • It is ideal for use as a reactive diluent for UV 2D/3D printing inks and flexible panel coatings.
  • It allows less reliance on solvents, leading to formulations with reduced VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) content.
  • It offers faster production, energy savings and better throughput, making it more efficient and cost-effective.
  • It is registered in US, EU, Japan, China, South Korea, Taiwan.
