A-221 by Nagase Specialty Materials is a low viscosity Bis[{1-ethyl(3-oxetanyl)}methyl}ether. Designed for cationic UV curing polymerization. It is highly reactive and polymerize by ring opening polymerization. It can reduce the viscosity and increases the cure speed of glycidyl ethers. Exhibits low shrinkage, high adhesion, high safety and no oxygen inhibition. A-221 is recommended for IR shielding coatings & cationic UV curable coating for food can coating, flexographic ink and resist applications. Complies with SNUR regulation.
