TERATE® HT 5503

TERATE® HT 5503 by Stepan Company is an aromatic polyester polyol. It delivers burn performance in industry testing, forming char with minimum shrinkage and high weight retention. It improves ease of processing during rigid foam production and adhesion to various substrates. It can be used as a partial replacement of traditional polyether polyols with minor formulation adjustments. TERATE® HT 5503 helps to reduce flame retardant loading and smoke development in halogenated or nonhalogenated polyurethane and polyisocyanurate rigid foam formulations.
