Photomer® 4160

Aliphatic difunctional acrylate. Used as an effective monomer in developing low viscosity, low volatility coatings and inks, in UV/EB curable clear and pigmented coatings, varnishes and liquid inks, especially flexo and gravure types. Offers low toxicity and low surface tension. Provides good cutting power and solvency characteristics in UV/EB curable formulations based on high molecular weight acrylated oligomers. Gives very good viscosity reducing characteristics. Can be used as a potential pigment wetting agent to provide rapid flowout during high speed processing. Imparts minimal shrinkage on cure and substrate adhesion.
