CHDM is 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol (CHDM). It is a cycloaliphatic diol. It is recommended for coating resins. It is suitable for unsaturated- & waterborne polyester resins. It can be used in powder coatings to enhance low temperature resistance and weatherability of the coating. CHDM offers improved gloss on coating surfaces.
