Desmodur® N 3800 is a solvent-free aliphatic polyisocyanate (flexibilizing HDI trimer). Acts as the hardener component for elastic, lightfast, two-component polyurethane coating systems. Offers high chemical resistance and weather stability, very good gloss retention and outstanding mechanical properties. Designed for air- and heat-drying coatings for automotive OEM, automotive refinishing, transportation, industrial finishing and plastics. Desmodur® N 3800 can be used in combination with polyacrylate or polyester polyols.
