Polyglykol® A 32/550

Polyglykol® A 32/550 by Clariant is a hygroscopic polyalkylene glycol monoallyl ether grade. It is a clear, yellowish liquid at room temperature. It is a high molecular alcohol with an allylic function and shows typical chemical reactions of alcohols as well as of the allylic group. Offers increased hydrophilic properties and improved compatibility or even solubility of the end products with water. It is neutral and soluble in water & commonly used organic solvents like acetone or methanol. Contains less than 10 ppm residual alkali ions and is therefore suitable for polyurethane, platinum catalyzed hydrosilation reactions and radical reactions or radical polymerization reactions. Polyglykol® A 32/550 is used in paints and coatings.
