Pluracol® 2120

Pluracol® 2120 by BASF is a primary hydroxyl-terminated graft polyether triol containing approximately 20% solids of copolymerized styrene and acrylonitrile. It contains a LVI inhibitor package. It can be used to produce HR slabstock foams having a narrow spread in cross-sectional density and IFD properties. It has broad processing latitude permits the manufacture of a wide variety of foam having high resilient properties, especially firmer grades. Pluracol® 2120 formulations can be modified using melamine and conventional flame retardants to produce foams which pass California technical bulletin 117 smoldering and open flame tests.
