SETALUX® 17-2450

SETALUX® 17-2450 by allnex is a hydroxy-functional acrylic polyol for two component vehicle refinish applications. This acrylic polyol is designed for fast curing clearcoat or single-state paint applications. When it is combined with appropriate aliphatic polyisocyanates, provides fast cure with a longer pot-life for excellent application and appearance properties and the excellent attributes of DOI. It also has excellent early hardness development and is buffable in a couple of hours. It offers excellent early crosslinking development (MEK rubs), very good flow-leveling balance and melt-in characteristics. It provides excellent clarity, gloss and distinctness of image (DOI). It is suitable as modifier resin for two component basecoats. SETALUX® 17-2450 is stable for 3 years at temperatures up to 100°F.
