EBECRYL® 8606

EBECRYL® 8606 by allnex is an aliphatic urethane tetraacrylate. After ultraviolet light (UV) or electronic beam (EB) curing, it exhibits a unique combination of hardness, toughness, flexibility and abrasion resistance coupled with outstanding exterior durability properties. It maintains excellent gloss retention after chemical tests. It is particularly suitable for paint protection & automotive interior films, and small draws thermoforming after cure. It may be applied via direct or reverse roll, offset gravure, metering rod, slot die, knife over roll, air knife, curtain, immersion & spin coating methods, and screen printing. EBECRYL® 8606 is recommended for use in automotive refinish, coatings for plastic & wood, printed electronics and post-formable coatings for plastic, metallized plastic, metal & conduit substrates. It is also ideal for optical coatings, non-yellowing topcoats for wood, pigmented coatings for wood, screen- & thermoformable inks and exterior durable coatings.
