EBECRYL® 1608

EBECRYL® 1608 by allnex is diacrylate ester of bisphenol A epoxy resin diluted with 15% of oligotriacrylate. This resin is characterized by its low odor, light color, low irritancy and very fast cure response. Films of EBECRYL® 1608 cured by exposure to ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB) exhibit high surface hardness and gloss, low residual odor and excellent solvent resistance.

• It is applied by lithographic, screen, gravure, direct or reverse roll and curtain coating methods.
• Recommended for use in overprint varnishes, lithographic & screen inks, coatings on wood, cardboard, chipboard, paper & rigid plastics, paper upgrading, and coatings where low residual odor is required.
• It has a shelf life of 2 years.
